In autumn 2020 the partnership published a short list of asks aimed at the European Commission and at member states that were treating pushbacks as ordinary management. The file is still the one linked from the home header.

What the list insisted on

Access to asylum registration at both external and internal borders. An end to informal detention at the line. A stop to racial profiling at stations and roadside checks. Respect for the Schengen Borders Code. And a demand that Frontex and national agencies be held to the Charter when they operate together.

The tone is of a working brief, not a manifesto. Members wanted a document a desk officer could hold in a meeting without a long preface.
